Whilst these works may appear as a part of the main ouvre, most of them have been conceived unintentionally and subsequently recognised for their value exactly on the premises of ‘hidden’ in plain sight.
Titled ‘Traces’ this group of works is a compendium of non-works – spaces where the artist has left marks in her surroundings and acknowledging that by observing something or being exposed to something for extended periods of time acquisition an adoption of meaning becomes inevitable.
‘Traces’ point towards the states of existence that are often overlooked and forgotten. Whilst outlook towards life is first -person perspective anchored in habitual apprehension of linearity, this series acts as a reminder that we are systemes defined by actions on 3d plane (to begin with.)
